GolfLogix Golf GPS + 3D Putts App Reviews

Used many golf apps over the past couple of years; golflogix is the best and its not close! Whether you use the free or paid version (paid is worth it), the app is user friendly and puts you in the best situation to hit quality golf shots. Just like having a caddy on your bag, the app makes you feel like you have played the course before even if it your first time around the track! Do your game a favor and get golflogix now, you wont play another round without it!

What I would love to see is this app utilizing the GPS on Apple Watch Series 2! Without using your iPhone, that would be legendary. 5 stars after that and I will subscribe yearly plus Golf Digest.

Best support of any golf app. Excellent graphics. Perfect yardages. All the stats your game needs. Ease of use 8 of 10.

The app is average and it stopped showing location and distance to the greens half way through the round. The biggest problem is that you need to watch out for the monthly membership scam. Have yet to find anywhere to cancel it and when I go to their website it tells you to go to the App Store to cancel and all they have are upgrade options. How convenient. Stay clear

Excellent golf app, every bit as accurate as anything else I have seen on the market thus far.

Great app and very accurate. Definitely helped my game a lot, Id be lost without it.

The previous version would rate 5 stars, now its 4. The new update took a bit of use (I use it 3-4times per week) to figure it out. Not as intuitive as previous versions. I missed the tee box input at the start of a round at first but prefer it at the end of the round as the update now has it. However the extra large print! What were you thinking?!? I have to scroll every time I get a double bogey! Can we have an option under settings to have regular size font versus extra large font? Do I need to know whether it par, bogey,...(or triple bogey!!) each time I enter my score? Ive recommended this app to all of my lady golfers. We like it for distance and course layout/views, keeping score and tracking time. The time elapsed is no longer on screen. (As a course ranger/Marshall I like to keep my personal rounds to 4 hours or less for our 4-some). Guys like using their scopes and keeping stats on their score cards versus the app. Ill continue to use it, but recommendations with come with a caveat.

Great app, one single feature is missing. Stand alone golf GPS using the new built-in GPS in Apple Watch Series 2! Still requires your phone to give distances, should be able to do it off the GPS sensor in the watch. Other apps, such as PING, already have this feature.

I have been using this app for a while: it is very accurate for getting your distances right and has really helped my game. Almost all of the courses I have played have color maps that are way better than the satellite images on the other gps apps I sampled. Just tried the new virtual round feature with Nintendo Wii like swings and it is really cool!

I havent noticed anything major yet but I do see you can update the par and handicap data on the fly!

Nice Nice love the practice rounds.. starting soon its going to be to cold to play.. now I can play in front for a fire and play courses I could never afford and only see on tv

This is the best app in the marketplace for its functionality and value. It provides the most accurate and detailed displays for every course that I have played.

I played a virtual practice round and it was pretty great! I like the new features, out at the course right now. So far, fantastic!!

Great update. Neat new features to use while at home

Ive used this GolfLogix app for the last two summers for distances and also tracked all of my scores and stats. The distances really help me plan out how I want to play each hole and save time. I now have all of my club distances all figured out because of this app which has probably dropped 2-3 shots per round. I also never really knew how many short shots I was giving up until I started tracking them with GolfLogix. This summer I spent much more time practicing my short game and I dropped another 2 strokes off my handicap because I am chipping it close for a 1 putt instead of 2 putts. After 2 summers of using this app on every round, my handicap index has dropped 6 strokes. I always recommend this app to the other golfers as it has been the perfect tool to help my game.

Golflogix is the only program that I have experienced that actually removes functionality and calls it an "upgrade." I have been using GolfLogix since the programs inception. I utilize the program to analyze my proximity to the Pin and missed putting lengths. The new "upgrade" took away the ability to track the length of my missed putts. Unacceptable. Fortunately, I am still utilizing the pre "upgrade" version, and will continue to utilize it until my Membership expires, at which time, I will find another iPhone golf application. The new graphics are an improvement, but the overall functionality of the upgrade has diminished the usability of the application. I would be ecstatic if they simply sorted the saved player list on the old application by name (which should have been done when that version was released), and left everything else the hell alone. It worked perfectly. In addition, it makes no sense that the AppleWatch application only allows you to enter a score for a single player. I keep my score and stats, and the score for the other three players in my group. This should be common sense functionality included in the Apple Watch Application. The GolfLogix team has really dropped the ball, and is risking alienating its entire long-standing customer base.

This has turned into a great tool. I use it all the time and find it to be user friendly and accurate. Like the new larger font.
